Power Plate
During a 30 minute session, Strong Vibes trainers will lead you through a series of exercises using your own body weight and a range of gym equipment - all performed on the Power Plate. Power Plate is the world's leading medically certified harmonic vibration platform that helps you feel better by stimulating natural reflexes, increasing muscle activation, and improving circulation. Our Power plate classes are fantastic for all abilities and are the perfect introductory class when joining Strong Vibes.
Boxercise
Tone and strengthen your muscles during a workout focusing on stamina. Learning to box safely and effectively, Strong Vibes boxercise trainers will guide you through moves and techniques to challenge your mind and body. You will be left feeling invigorated and de-stressed. Some summer sessions will take place in Bachelors Acre, located behind Strong Vibes.
Post Natal
Having children shouldn’t deprive you of the opportunity to stay fit and active within a gym environment. At Strong Vibes we completely understand the difficulties that having children can bring to your workout routine. We offer this class to mothers who are looking to build back strength and tone after giving birth. Strong Vibes trainers will lead you through a series of exercises, performed on the Power Plate. Children are welcome to attend this class along with you, all that we require is that you bring something to sit them in
TRX
Our Total Body Resistance Exercise (TRX) classes use an adjustable two strap system fixed to a single point on the wall. Trainers will lead you through a series of exercises utilising the TRX straps with your own weight and gravity to add resistance to your workout. A wonderful workout to help build strength, balance and coordination along with core and joint stability. Suitable for all abilities, especially those wanting to strengthen their core.
Ballet Plate
Led by a fully qualified ballet instructor, you will be taken through a series of exercises emulating balletic dance moves and positions to stretch and challenge your body in a class completely unique to Strong Vibes. No dance experience is required, tutu’s are optional.
HIIT Pilates
These sessions are a fantastic way to get the body moving and to enhance your mobility. You will be guided through a series of dynamic movements based on Pilates principles, performed on and off the Power Plate. These workouts can be achieved by any ability and any age. Our trainer will tailor the exercises to each individual so you are guaranteed to feel the benefit from every session.
Indoor Cycling
Strong Vibes indoor cycling sessions are an intense cardiovascular workout, performed using the renowned stationary Keiser bikes. Our sessions focus on endurance and stamina, guided by a Strong Vibes trainer, you will be taken on a journey through intervals and recovery. The bike has a weighted flywheel controlled by gears that you can increase/decrease the resistance of as the class goes on.
Stretch Plate
Extend, lengthen and strengthen your muscles within any of our yoga or stretch sessions. They are specifically designed to help your body unwind and rehabilitate your muscles. We practise Vinyasa yoga, performing many body conditioning exercises during our stretch sessions. These sessions are a wonderful complimentary class to do alongside any of our other sessions or to be enjoyed as your main class.
Weight Training
However small or heavy you can lift, weights are a fabulous accessory to any workout. Our sessions combine traditional weighted exercises with high intensity interval training to get the most out of your muscles. Our skilled trainers will focus on your technique and ability to ensure your safety at all times. We have a wide variety of weights and create a fantastic workout for all ages and abilities.
